Gosberton WI
9th August 2022
Gosberton WI meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the Public Hall Gosberton at 7pm.

We normally have a short business meeting, an interesting speaker or demonstration and refreshments before heading home. This month we have a talk by Heather Wright of the Boston Stitchers entitled "The Story in Stitch".

We get involved with various issues, nationally and those of a local interest. The issue of single use plastics is always uppermost and following the recent national pandemic, we are concerned about mental health problems and loneliness.

Coming up in future meetings:

Florence Cottage: how they developed their jams and preserves business. There will also be a sales table and a members sales table.

Hairdressing talk and demonstration.

Life as a Tudor Lady.

Dates are to be confirmed, but there is a lot to look forward to in the coming months.

Ladies are always welcome to come to our meetings and those becoming new members now can do so at the discounted price of £22. For more information ring our president, Rosemary on 01775 640573 or our secretary Jeannette on 01775 841779, or why not visit the national website  www.thewi.org.uk
