Gosberton Community Action Team

Who We Are

A bit more about us

GCAT is a community interest company, which means that we exist solely for the interests of the community.

It is a new type of company introduced by the UK government in 2005, designed for social enterprises that want to use their profits and assets for the public good.

We are governed by The Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies.

We meet every other month, with occasional extraordinary meetings if there is a particular project we need to talk about.

Contact us to find out about specific volunteering opportunities or to register your interest for a particular project. Everyone is welcome to the GCAT meetings – either just to hear what’s going on or to bring an idea or suggestion for the group.

Please ring Jane Parker on 07778 125778 for the next meeting dates.

Have an idea for a project? We would love to hear about it!

Whether you just have the beginning of an idea, or a fully costed plan, we would love you to tell us about it. We will help you get it off the ground and support you with making it work.

Click here to read our leaflet which has more information and all the details.

The meetings are an opportunity for you to meet with others to air your views on what we can do to improve the community (not just Gosberton but surrounding villages too) and to be part of it.

We welcome new ideas and initiatives and people with skills or talents who want to use them. For further information email gcat(AT - use the usual symbol)gosberton.org
