Are you doing family tree research?

If you are interested in finding more information about your ancestors that may have lived in the Gosberton area, please contact our Parish Assistant, Debbie Reynolds who will be pleased to look through the old church records.

We have some old hand written transcripts of baptisms, marriages and burials between 1621 and 1826. There are 8 or 9 of these books and they contain many thousands of names. We also have a list of head stones and burial dates for the churchyard up to 1895 approximately which is when the churchyard was closed and burials from then on took place in the local cemetary.

You can write or email Debbie, please see her contact details below. When contacting us please supply as many details as you can on your request ie. full names and where possible dates or approximate dates. Some churches charge £5 per hour for this service but we do not. We simply ask for a donation towards the upkeep of the Church. The amount can be decided by you depending upon the amount of information we can find and send you. Some research takes two or three hours, some can take 10 hours.
